Due to the inclement weather, the January 14th rehearsal has been cancelled and moved to the following Sunday, January 21st.
The time and location are still the same, 9:00am - 6:00pm at Silverton Paideia Academy.
Also, this is still a Brass & Percussion only rehearsal.
Please contact us at CincinnatiTradition@gmail.com for any questions.
Hello interested color guard folks! We know how much you love being around the rest of your Tradition family. And you can't wait for the next rehearsal so you can hang out with all your favorites. We love seeing you, too. However, we know that a lot of y'all are super busy with winterguard and that's awesome. So awesome that we don't want you stressing out about attending Tradition rehearsals until April 22nd. How's that sound?
On second thought, I'm not sure we can go that long without you. Can we see you on January 28th, too?
Hello Brass & Percussion,
We will be rehearsing at all the scheduled rehearsals.
Tradition is off to a great start for the 2018 season!
The staff was really impressed with the level of talented performers that were in attendance. And on top of that, we had record number of people in attendance too!
As we continue through the winter months, please note that the guard will not be expected to attend all of the rehearsals to allow them to participate in winterguard activities. Please review the rehearsal schedule.
Tradition performed a wonderful show for the audience in Rochester, New York that led them to a second Class A Championship!
Not only that, our very own corps director, Tom Slade, was awarded the Director of the Year award for his amazing and passionate leadership of the corps!
And if that wasn't enough, Tradition's brass line and percussion line scored the highest in their class earning them the High Brass and High Percussion awards!
The entire corps also earned the highest score in Total Effect as well.
We're not finished yet! There were several individuals of Tradition that participated in Individual & Ensemble competition. Congratulations goes out to Jessie Tawney for her win in the Visual-Combo category!
Overall, Tradition had a wonderful season that was capped off by some wonderful performances and everlasting memories. Thank you to all of the supporters of Tradition! We couldn't have done this without you!

Tradition had a lot of "firsts" in Rochester Labor Day weekend. Two members of the snare line performed a percussion duet at I&E and received first place. The Tradition brass section earned their first HIGH BRASS award. The percussion section earned their first HIGH PERCUSSION award. The corps earned a first place score in VISUAL. The corps also earned a first place score in GENERAL EFFECT.
But, the most special and rewarding "first" that Tradition earned was the very first FIRST PLACE CHAMPIONSHIP in Tradition history! In fact, if you want to expand the "firsts" a little further, this is the first championship by any drum and bugle corps in the Tri-State area...ever!
Tradition performed in the Kiltie Klassic last night for their first DCA show of the season. After the dust settled, Tradition came in first place of Class A with a score of 73.50! For those keeping track at home, that's almost 3 points higher than last year's Kiltie Klassic, and 0.15 shy of Tradition's highest score last year.
Tradition would like to thank the Kilties for being such gracious hosts and putting on a great show. The Kiltie Klassic has always been one of our favorite shows to perform in.
The confirmed location for the May 1st rehearsal is Silverton Paideia Academy.
There is a $40 camp registration fee for all participants of rehearsals. You may pre-pay Here.
